Learn the terminology used in movement-based practices.
Study the systems of the human body, including the musculoskeletal, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine, and lymphatic systems, with a view of the potential effects of Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation on these systems. |
Learn about the body’s fascial layers and how Yoga can affect our connective tissues and influence the systems of the body through the fascia. Deepen your knowledge of the major joints of the body — the spine, shoulder, hip and knee joints — through joint, connective tissue and muscle anatomy, as well as the biomechanics of each individual joint.
