Vinyasa Yoga
for
Balance & Strength

Beautifully and skillfully flow from one posture to the next while connecting breath and gaze
with movement.
Practices are thoughtfully designed to build strength, improve flexibility and refine poise at a mindfully moving, flowing pace. A more modern practice to balance our energies with steadiness and ease, and develop a rhythm to create a deeper connection within.

Yin Yoga
for

Quiet & Calm

Yield into a soft, nourishing and clarifying practice to cultivate  health
of our
deeper connective tissues.
Fewer postures are held for longer time to regain space and strength in the joints.  Yin brings equanimity to our other practices for improved mobility and stability, while allowing space for inner awareness and contentment.

Focus & Expansion

Experience a traditional yoga practice for an integration of our physical, mental, and emotional selves with our subtle inner nature.  Connect focus and breath to bring strength and stability to our efforts in joyful sequences.
These classes include elements to purify the body, enhance muscle tone,  strengthen the spine and core, while further calming the mind with equanimity.

I prioritize strength, mobility, and agility in experiencing postures, as well as balance and concentration.
Slow is strong
This motto ensures a sustainable yoga practice and extended health-span in our lives and
compliments all our physical activities and adventures.

The Tibetan Buddhist teachings of H.H. The Dalai Lama, the writings of Stephen Batchelor, and Himalayan mountaineer adventure stories inspire my life and my classes, which always include meditation for insight.  Other philosophical and spiritual texts, such as The Yoga Sutra of Patañjali, The Bhagavad Gita, and The Buddha's Dhammapada, are also excellent influences for a harmonious, compassionate approach to our yogic practices which transfers into our lives.  Pranayama for breath refinement, an embodied awareness by bringing attention inward through pratyahara, and a long savasana to release after our efforts are also present in these classes.
